Placement Information
English composition, mathematics, and second language form the foundation for all University of Arizona degrees. Students are required to either complete courses or demonstrate proficiency in all three of these areas.

The University of Arizona's English Writing Program provides English placement and transfer course evaluation to all students - Mathematics
All students are required to complete at least one math course in order to fulfill degree requirements. - Second Language
With the exception of some engineering degrees, all UA majors require students to be proficient in a language other than English.
