Advisor Recognition: UA Program for Excellence in Academic Advising
Under the auspices of Dr. Jerry Hogle, Vice Provost for Instruction, the Recognition Committee of the University Academic Advising Council (UAAC) administers an annual awards program designed to recognize excellence in academic advising. The recognition program is based on a key recommendation brought forward by the Academic Advising Task Force final report released in April 2002.
The Recognition Committee, Chaired by R. Scott Johnson, Assistant Dean, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, is comprised of faculty, staff and student representatives.
