The UA is committed to supporting military veterans' success and to helping create a national climate for veterans in higher education that is inclusive of their unique talents and experiences.
The Veterans Education and Transition Services (V.E.T.S.) Office is a hub of information and support for student veterans at the UA. The office is centrally located on campus in room 404 of the Student Union Memorial Center and is staffed by trained student veterans who have transitioned to the UA and are knowledgeable about the campus.
This office, located in the Modern Languages Building, Room 347, works in partnership with the Veterans Administration to assist veterans and dependents eligible to participate in the Montgomery GI Bill Education Benefits Program.
SERV offers a curriculum of credit bearing courses to cohorts of veterans. These courses are compatible with the GI Bill and help translate military experience into success in college.
