UA South Thematic: Human Services Emphasis

Minor Description:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment for human services workers is projected to grow by approximately 34% through 2016.  The online Human Services minor will help students develop the knowledge and skills in program planning, human development and social issues to build long-term careers in the social services field.  

Minor Requirements:

Human Services required courses, 4 courses (12 units):  FSHV 408, HUSV 301, 347, 450

Human Services electives, 2 courses, (6 units), selected from: HUSV 357, 367, 410, 420, 430, 440

Note:  Check for prerequisite requirements.

Comments:

Courses in the Human Services minor are available entirely online.

Double Use of Minor Course Work:
