Professional Development and Training
Academic Advisors are encouraged to engage in professional development opportunities offered on campus as well as through regional and national conferences. Recommendations for seminar topics or other professional development activities are welcome at the Advising Resource Center (ARC). Contact the ARC at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 626-7988.
Several conferences and symposiums are offered at the local, state, regional and national levels. The ARC periodically announces the availability of travel grant opportunities for partial funding to support advisor attendance.
