Declaring a Major
Beginning in Fall 2009, students submit an application to become pre-communication (PRCM) majors. Applications will be accepted only during the first four weeks of the semester (e.g., for Fall 2009, applications will only be accepted up to the end of business on Friday September 18th). No late or incomplete applications will be considered.
Admission is competitive and operates on a quota basis: applicants will be ranked and a fixed number of highest ranked applications will be accepted. Applications will be available soon at

Students interested in declaring a minor in Communication must meet with an advisor in the department.
