Declaring a Major

---

Once students have completed the Pre-Architecture requirements, admission to the Professional Phase (second through fifth years) of the program is selective and competitive.

To be eligible for admission to the pre-architecture year, both Arizona residents and out-of-state residents must declare the pre-architecture major on their UA admission application and must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale)
• 1110 SAT Math & Critical Reading composite score, and/or
• 24 ACT composite score

Declaring a Minor

Students interested in declaring the College's only minor, Architecture History/Theory, must meet with the Architecture advisor.
