After a 25-year career in the mining and manufacturing industry, the lure of higher education proved too strong to resist. I threw caution to the wind and enrolled at the University of Arizona, where I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in Spring 2020. A series of on-campus student jobs led me to the wonderful world of academic advising and Wayfinders, a program that I currently coordinate for the Advising Resource Center. My academic goals dovetail nicely with my career aspirations, and I will be continuing my collegiate experience in the Master’s of Higher Education program here at the University.
When not spending time on our beautiful campus, I can be found exploring the incredible hiking trails in and around Tucson with my lovely wife Melissa and my five amazing children.
