UACCESS TRAINING FOR ADVISORS

UACCESS FUNDAMENTALS

http://uits.arizona.edu/workshops/workshop_detail?view=193This online material is a prerequisite for all other UAccess Student workshops. It is for users in academic 
departments and administrative offices who will be using UAccess Student to access and update student 
information. 

 

ACADEMIC ADVISING BASICS

This workshop is for professional advisors who will be using UAccess Student to access student 
information, enter advising notes, and request advisement reports. 

 

PROGRAM/PLAN UPDATE

This workshop is for professional advisors who need to make changes to a student's Program, Plan, or 
Sub-Plan (also known as College, Major/Minor, and Option). 

 

STUDENT GROUPS

For users who need to add students to and remove students from Student Groups (such as Honors, 
SALT, and athletic groupings). 

 

ENROLLMENT ADD/DROP FOR DEPARTMENTS AND COLLEGES

This workshop is for users in academic departments and administrative offices who will be using 
UAccess Student to manage student enrollments--including performing adds and drops. 

 

SERVICE INDICATORS

For users who need to add and remove Service Indicators (Flags and Holds) on student records.

 

ACADEMIC ADVISING ADVANCED

This in-person workshop is for advisors who will be inputting exceptions to student academic 
advisement reports. Please go to UAccess Learning to enroll in the course. The Academic Advising
Basics course must be completed 24 hours before enrolling in the Advanced training.
