Born in Japan and raised primarily in Abilene, Texas, I am a lifelong learner. After receiving my B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies in Physics, Math, and English, I worked in the software industry for several years before pursuing my M.S. in Environmental Management, which led me to get a Juris Doctorate and then a Master of Library and Information Science. During my time working at University of North Texas at Dallas College of Law, I discovered my passions both for data and for advising students, first at the graduate professional level. I then shifted focus to undergraduate students, moving to the University of Texas at Dallas, growing my skills as an academic advisor and developing my understanding of the undergraduate student journey. I returned to the world of data at Northcentral/National University as an Assessment and Accreditation Director, working with faculty and students at all degree levels to tell the stories behind the data and establish targeted initiatives for student success. I am excited to now be a part of the Advising Resource Center as the Coordinator for Wayfinders and Academic Advising Assessment, supporting students who have general advising and resource questions, and assisting with the continuous improvement of advising across campus through assessment.

When I'm not working with data or students, I enjoy spending time with my two rescue mini-poodles, watching East Asian dramas, and playing tabletop games.
