Jimmy Simpson

Administrative Support Specialist

Living in Tucson for the past 15 years and born and raised on the border in Rio Rico, AZ, I consider myself a native of the Old Pueblo and a proud Wildcat for life. While receiving my Associate's Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Music Theory and Alto Saxophone Performance at Pima Community College, I also assisted the UA's Pride of Arizona Marching Band as a Teaching Assistant, which helped fuel my passion for music and student mentorship. Recently hailing from a sustainable startup, I very much look forward to furthering my professional career and helping students and colleagues alike through my interest in multimedia training and engagement, as well as interpersonal communication at the Advising Resource Center!

In my spare time I love playing various instruments including my beautiful Mauriat alto saxophone and bass, casual reading, watching alternative news and knowledge outlets on YouTube, going to the gym, and playing with my best friend, Roy Boy the Cat.
