Substitutions will be granted only for extraordinary circumstances, and each college has its own policies and procedures for accepting substitutions.

SUBSTITUTION POLICIES

Substitutions for Foundations mathematics and second language requirements must be based on a disability and recommended by the Disability Resource Center. The college dean's office approves all other substitutions. Some colleges have a General Education Petition process. Students seeking a substitution should see their advisor for information on their college's policies and procedures.
