FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS
The transition from high school to college life can be confusing, if not overwhelming for many students. Many campus offices provide services to support students as they become accustomed to life at the UA.
GRADUATING SENIORS
The following services assist graduating seniors as they formally declare their intent to graduate, participate in university ceremonies, and prepare for life after college.
HONORS COLLEGE STUDENTS
Honors College students have access to unique programs and resources, and many research opportunities with faculty.
INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
International students face the unique challenges of complying with complicated government regulations and acclimating to a new environment and culture. The UA provides extensive support to these students throughout their academic tenures.
PARENTS & FAMILY
Parents & Family play an important role in a student's college journey. There are some great resources and services to learn how parents and family members can be supportive.
PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
Selecting a university to attend and a major to study are important decisions for any prospective student. From the early stages of exploring the University of Arizona as an academic option through the actual process of enrollment and registration, the UA provides numerous resources to support prospective students.
RETURNING STUDENTS
Whether their absence has been one semester or twenty years, returning students can use a variety of UA services in order to readjust to their academic environments and develop efficient plans for picking up where they left off.
STUDENT ATHLETES
Student athletes are highly encouraged to work closely with both the college advisor in their major and the professional staff in the C.A.T.S. academic program to receive advice about their academic progress and support in managing their demanding schedules, all while adhering to the guidelines of the NCAA.
TRANSFER STUDENTS
Ensuring that courses from other institutions can be applied toward a UA degree is one of the greatest concerns of transfer students. The UA provides multiple resources to assist both students who are transferring from other institutions and current students who wish to take classes at other schools as they make their course selections.
VETERANS
The UA is committed to supporting military veterans' success and to helping create a national climate for veterans in higher education that is inclusive of their unique talents and experiences.
