Need to Know:

  • Spaces & Technology: Even with the temporary reduction in hours & building availability, the Libraries still offer great study spaces for students. These include walk-in areas for both quiet and computer study as well as rooms that can reserved ahead of time ( We offer access to technology, including the check-out of laptops, tablets and more (
  • Information resources (print & online): UA Libraries have over 9 million books, journals and electronic volumes in our collection and almost 1,000 research databases for student and faculty use. Discovery and access begin on our website ( This is also where students can request items from other libraries nationwide (interlibrary loan).
  • Help & Support: We offer a range of help and support options. Students can ask a question via chat or text, attend a workshop (virtually for the moment) or connect with our liaison librarian program. Each college, school or department has a liaison librarian assigned to it. These expert librarians offer one-on-one assistance with research from a research paper to a dissertation and everything in-between (
